Help the Kujawa Family
I’m grateful to know Molly and her husband Bryce. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting them, you probably wouldn’t be surprised by their attitudes as they have been very heaven-centered from the beginning of their evacuation/home loss from the fires in Talent, OR. Please consider contributing to their fund and keep them in your prayers as they navigate what to do next and continue to be witnesses of God’s goodness.
“On Tuesday 9.8.2020 wildfires ripped through our precious town of Talent, OR. Unfortunately our townhome rental was in the path of the fire, and we lost everything. The fire burned so quickly that we did not have time to grab anything. We are left with our two vehicles, and the clothes on our backs.
Even though we lost our place, we know many people have lost far greater. And thousands of people may have had their homes saved but are currently displaced. Thank you to the first responders who are fighting to save our communities 24/7 while they don’t know the status of their own homes and their families are forced to evacuate without them. Our home may have been lost, but without the tireless work of our firefighters, police officers, EMTs, national guard, and many other public service workers, we would have lost so much more. These men and women are in need of our supplication in prayer for their health and safety while serving our communities. Please join us in praying for them.
And please pray for the communities in the Rogue Valley, as we have much rebuilding to do and many have been displaced. Please pray for people to come together, and above all, find that the only hope in this world comes from trusting in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Bryce and I still consider ourselves some of the richest people on earth, as we have each other, an amazing community, and a hope in Christ that is of more worth than any material losses.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:19-21 “
