Please Help the Kyser Family

On the morning of his 34th wedding anniversary, Harvey Kyser passed from Covid-19, abruptly leaving his beautiful family reeling. He was one of the most kind and generous men I've ever known. A loving husband to his wife, a brilliant father to his daughter and four sons, and a fantastic grandfather to his young grandson. Harvey was kind, gentle, and had a fantastic sense of humor, and raised his children to be, too. His daughter was the first person to talk to me when I moved to Elgin as a thirteen-year-old kid, and she was quick to bring me into her family like a sister. And Harvey's entire life was his family, not just including his far-reaching family of nieces, nephews and in-laws, but all of his children's friends no exception. I went on more summer vacation holidays with the Kyser family than I did my own family, and I am a better person for it. Though I moved to a different country almost seven years ago, the Kyser family has always remained in my heart as a second family to me, and it shatters me to know how lost they are without the vibrant, loving head of their household, who could change the whole mood of a room with his great laugh.
I am no stranger to loss, and the toll it takes on you. From all the way in Canada there isn't much I can do with the borders closed and Covid rates in Texas so high. So I'm doing what I can and asking for help from anyone willing to give it for this beautiful, caring family who helped change my life for the better because I know they would do the same for me, and probably anyone else who they thought needed it.
EDIT: You guys are AMAZING! WE MET A 10K GOAL IN THREE DAYS! But there's still stuff like medical bills and things to pay off, so why don't we try to cover that for them as well! I think we can do it! Thank you so much, guys, this means so much to the Kyser family - they are one of the most important families in my entire life. Let's do this!
