Help the Ladues move to an LGBTQ-friendly state!

My beloved sister and her family currently live in Florida - - which has grown increasingly more hostile toward LGBTQ people. They have 5 great kids including one that is transgender. Because Florida banned medical coverage for transgender care; her transgender child is currently without medical coverage for any transgender-related care. In the past year alone, Florida has passed legislation that has banned transgender health care, banned LGBTQ books, banned speaking of the word “gay, banned all public funds from going toward transgender treatments, banned transgender folx from using the bathroom that corresponds to their affirmed gender and they are seeking to also ban all life-saving transgender care and allow transgender children to be removed from their supportive homes (via SB 254). Florida is no longer a safe place for her family.

Let’s help the Ladues move back to the more LGBTQ-friendly New England where all of their children can feel safe and receive the medical care that they need without having to constantly fear for their safety.

If you know my sister, you know that she is the kindest, most loving person that you probably know. She would never ask for help; which is why I am asking for her. Please donate what you can; even if it is just $1. Moving is expensive. The cost of living in trans-friendly states is much higher. Having to flee your home and leave most of your belongings behind to start anew for the safety of your children is traumatic. Let’s rally around our beloved Ladues and bring them back to New England.
