Help the LaMaye Family Honor Al's Memory
Donation protected
Hi guys, my name is Tina LaMaye and recently my family lost a significant part of our family. Albert Edward LaMaye Sr, an amazing husband, kind and caring father, and an awesome papa and great-papa, lost his battle to prostate cancer on November 5th, 2024, at 5:30 pm after fighting it for years. It spread to his liver and lungs very quickly towards the end. No matter what he was dealing with health-wise, he worked hard as hell to provide for us as a family. Al, or Pa, as many knew him by, served as a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam Era. Unfortunately for my family, he did not have life insurance and the cost of getting him cremated falls on us. His last days were spent surrounded by his family, and he knew he wasn’t alone. We shared so many memories of him, and we laughed and cried together. We know he isn’t in pain anymore, and we are the ones in pain since he gained his wings. He has a huge family that he is survived by, who will carry on his memory. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will miss him so friggin much, and we now have to learn life without him. We know in this economy it’s hard for everyone, and we would appreciate any help that is given. There’s so much we need to do and figure out, and we appreciate any help given in this time of mourning for us. I’m gonna try and put all his surviving relatives here❤️ Thank you so much for taking the time and reading our story.
He is survived by his wife Kathy LaMaye and his brother Carl LaMaye.
Al’s children and stepchildren are Carl, Trish, Jon, Tina, Julie, Al Jr., and Geoffrey.
His grandchildren are Timothy, Victoria, Chloe, Amanda, Nicole, Devon, Chris Jr., Kyle, and Caitlyn.
His great-grandchildren are Leo, Henry, Kinsley, Kalie, Krue, Russell, Kalob, Kaia, and Kamora.
Al is now up in heaven with many of his family members, looking down on all of us and probably laughing at us scrambling around like chickens with our heads cut off. I know I’ve probably forgotten a lot of family, but at the moment I’m running strictly on fumes trying to figure out what to do. Again, we thank any donation of any amount at this time❤️
