Help The Landings of Lake Lure Staff Rebuild After Helene

A year ago, our mother, Nancy Miller, moved into a new assisted living community in Lake Lure, North Carolina called The Landings of Lake Lure. To say that the staff created a sense of family there is an understatement. The consideration and detail they have given consistently over the last 12 months has been remarkable. Especially during the last seven days: they stayed with our family members and made life good for them in the midst of a catastrophe. We've learned that many of them have lost their own homes and suffered personal crises, and yet, they continued to be supportive until our family members were evacuated yesterday, remaining behind to help their own families. This is true servant leadership at every level, and we want to show up for them as they have for us. Please consider donating to a relief fund for the staff of the Landings of Lake Lure.
