Help the Landis Family (of Maslow's Army )
Donation protected
I met Sam & Susan when I was looking for a volunteer opportunity that was meaningful to me. I can't imagine a night without a bed and roof over my head and their organization came across as a FB story.
Samuel Landis, a founder of the nonprofit group Maslow's Army has had two horrible accidents in less than 17 days. These accidents have added financial hardship on his family.
Before the accidents, Sam helped those experiencing homelessness every single day being boots on the ground. Formerly homeless himself, he advocated for the less fortunate. With his passion and drive, during the COVID 19 Pandemic, he lead a program that housed over 264 homeless veterans, families, and individuals in hotel rooms to protect them and the community from the spread of Covid 19.
Now Sam is in need of assistance from the community he has helped serve for over 4 years.
Samuel had a horrific accident 17 days ago and sliced his achilles tendon in half. While at home recovering, he fell in his bathroom and retore the tendon resulting in the tendon rupturing requiring more surgery.
After years of dedicated service to the community, he is now in need of help. His current insurance doesn't cover all of the medical bills and prescription costs. Sam and his family currently live on the second floor of an apartment complex which is unsuitable for the recovery process of his injury.
Please help this man who has selflessly given back to so many.
