HELP THE LARTERS TO REUNITE!
Donation protected
Emilie and Adam Larter have not seen their family - Josh, George, Tallie and James - in a whole year. From the UK to Uganda they are 6,455 miles apart. They are desperate to be reunited this summer, but they cannot do it alone! You may be here because you’ve followed ‘The Larters’ journey via YouTube/ TikTok or Instagram for a while, or you may be new to who they are. So please take the time to read and I’ll try and sum it all up for you. 8 years ago, Emilie volunteered in an orphanage in Uganda, where she cared for a 5 day old baby boy, who had lost his mother when he was just two days old. She fell in love with the baby boy who was given the name Adam. Now 8 years later, Adam has been adopted by Emilie and lives in the UK. Their life together has been largely documented on YouTube, gaining 50,000 subscribers and even reaching the news and ‘This Morning’. Their journey has not been easy. Whilst in Uganda Emilie met Josh, who later became her boyfriend. Three more beautiful children joined their family, all of whom are in the slow and complex process of being adopted. During all of this, Emilie also became co-founder of ‘CEDA’, which is a charity that supports young children in Uganda and provides them with education. Living in Uganda became unaffordable, the school Emilie was working at shut during covid and in 2021 Emilie made the terribly difficult decision to move back to the UK with Adam, temporarily leaving Josh, George, Tallie and James in Uganda. The aim is for Josh, George, Tallie and James to move to the UK and be with Emilie and Adam forever. In order for this to happen - Emilie has to be living and working in the UK to be able to apply for their visa. Like most, life gets in the way, there have been many events that have caused knock backs and now the UK is currently in a cost of living crisis. Emilie is working tirelessly to reunite her family. She’s currently working 2 jobs, running the charity, sending money back to Uganda for the charity children, her family in Uganda and supporting Adam in the UK, as well as trying to be active with her social media. Emilie has done SO much for others and I feel it’s time for someone to do something for her. I’m Mollie - Emilie’s Brother’s girlfriend (gosh that’s a hard one to write). He is also named Adam, confusing I know! I see first hand just how difficult it is for Emilie and Adam to be away from their family. It breaks my heart that they don’t know when they may see one another again. Emilie misses her children’s milestones, their special occasions, even the small moments like tucking your children into bed, or sharing a meal with them. Please will you help reunite George, Tallie, James & Josh with Emilie and Adam this summer? All monies raised will go directly towards this trip out to Uganda. If we do not raise the amount needed, the money will be saved until enough has been added to allow them to visit. At the minute, the flights are looking at around £3500 for a return trip to Uganda. Additional funds will be used to go towards their time spent out there making memories as a family. The trip itself will be vlogged over on ‘The Larters’ YouTube channel so you will be able to see a variety of content from their trip including: them reuniting, days out together, day in the life vlogs, and much more. I do understand that the cost of living has had a huge impact on so many lives, and so if you are unable to donate - that’s ok. Even just sharing this page to others will be a big support and I’d be entirely grateful. With your help, I am hoping to raise enough money for the whole trip. Emilie, Josh, Adam, George, Tallie & James deserve to see one another again, make beautiful memories together and catch up on lost time. Your help, no matter how big or small will mean everything to them. Thank you for reading and a huge thank you to anyone able to support ❤️
