Help the Lashers Recover from Flooding
On July 23, 2021 Sheri and Brian Lasher had to be evacuated by helicopter from their home in New River of over 30 years. Severe rainstorms and sudden flash flooding turned their property into a raging river moving their home over 30 feet and destroying its foundation and everything in it. They have lost not only their home and personal belongings, but one of their vehicles was washed away in the flooding and the other two were destroyed by mud and water. In the space of an hour these two wonderful people lost the home they raised their two beautiful daughters,Breanna and Nicole, in.
Brian and Sheri Lasher are some of the most down to earth, kind hearted, and hardworking people you will ever meet. They’d give you the shirt off their back and go out of their way to help anyone in need! Let's help them recover and get back on their feet!
A huge thank you to MSCO and Daisy Mountain Fire for getting them to safety!
News stations have reported that two dogs were lost in the flooding however, all 3 dogs made it out safely as well as the family cat!
