In loving memory of Lloyd J. Lewis

On December 20th the world lost one of its most generous caring people. My father Lloyd J. Lewis achieved so much in his life from making it out the foster care system in the 60’s, to joining the Airforce, to working on the original space shuttle in the 80’s, to working on chemical lasers, to having an amazing family, and eventually going back to another space venture at SpaceX. He always dreamed big and made sure to help those around him. Help would come in many different ways, from helping me on science projects to making sure my friends growing up would have Christmas and birthday presents. Always treating people like equals and never putting himself first. He was a father, a husband, a friend when in need, the breadwinner, and a king. He will be forever missed. One of the many things he instilled in me are you never know what someone is going through behind closed doors. So be kind, help when you can you don’t have to move mountains or anything extravagant. Even just being a shoulder to lean on is enough. We are making this GoFundMe to help with the unexpected expenses of losing a loved one around the holidays. Anything helps. Even if you choose not to donate take the message behind this and apply it to your life. Help those who you can and be kind. The world is too cruel nowadays to add more to it. Rest in peace Lloyd J.
