Help the Lim family get reunited and fix a broken system
Donation protected
My family is blessed with 5 wonderful children. It is hard to imagine life without one of them.
Our only boy Theo has brought us so many lessons of joy and persistence.
We have learned so much along the way.
Unfortunately, the system of healthcare and government institutions is riddled with issues as we have been discriminated against because of our desire to use naturopathic vs the allopathic methods.
Our son is now medically kidnapped from us after a Judge's verdict given October 22nd, 2024
The promises MCFD have made in court are not honored.
They cannot find a care home for Theo Lim in our community in Armstrong.
He was put into foster care January 29th, 2025, ahead of schedule by 2 weeks. The details on how it is being conducted would leave you with horror and shock.
Today we are being evicted from Ronald McDonald House even after pleading with management about our situation.
Theo was admitted on the weekend to Pediatric intensive Care unit due to sickness again. He has lost weight and is miserable. We prefer not to leave RMH until after he is discharged as their motto is keeping families close. But their response is, "Theo is not under your guardianship" and "another family needs the room."
We want to stay close to him as we appeal the unjust verdict, share our story, be part of a class action lawsuit against MCFD and find ways to reform BC Children's Hospital and how they deal with human rights.
Like Jordan's principal and Samantha's law, we hope to establish precedents that will help families from being exploited for financial gain to government bodies. And like Lindy Chamberlain be vindicated of the false accusations and be reunited with love ones instead of being oppressed and imprisoned.
BC needs reform to protect families and not weaken them. We hope our plight will be a loud sound of freedom as we face the storms with your support.
