Help the Longley Family Rebuild After Fire

Hello, my name is Rachael this is something i normally don’t do or really know how to do but …We are The longley family and we have lived in chattanooga for 5 years now, and love every second of it. We are lucky enough to have been a part of the caretakers family that cherished the land at b’Zion cemetery. Last night started like any other night. We were packed and ready for my Daughter select softball tournament in Cleveland. Unfortunately, this morning around 4 am the kitchen unknowingly caught fire. Me and 3 of 4 kids,2 dogs and a bird were home SLEEPING AT THE TIME. The smoke QUICKLY filled the whole entire house. I woke up to our dogs barking and scratching at our bedroom door. I run up stairs to find out if i can stop the fire only to get hit with extreme heat and smoke. I feel my way to my daughter’s room and Wake her up. She is coughing and scrambling and feeling our way out she falls down the stairs a little. Dizzy and coughing I go down to my bedroom and get my 2 littles who are 4 and 2 . Both are super scared and i have to carry them both outside. One dog ( prince ) followed us out of the house but we couldn’t find our other. SHE WAS STUCK INSIDE!! ( Marley). I went back to the door looking for her and screaming to find her but couldn’t. We waited for the fire department to come they were so fast!! They finally got her out. She was safe but breathing really bad. The kids were scared and crying. They didn’t understand why we couldn’t get there toys and games. We lucky had Bella’s ball gear loaded in the car the night before. What hurts is the things irreplaceable childhood PHOTOS THAT CAN NEVER BE REPLACED, jewelry melted together. ALL of OUR memories AND SCHOOL WORK SINCE PRESCHOOL IS GONE, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, EVERY SINGLE thing we bought for the kids to start school back was destroyed. basically all of our personal belongings AND FAMILY MEMORIES got completely destroyed in this fire. my daughters bedroom was closest to the fire so she suffered the most lost by far. I STARTED this go fund me to not only help her REPLACE ITEMS LOST IN THE FIRE BUT BE ABLE TO EASE THE STRESS OF GETTING ALL 3 kids new school supplies and clothes. No, we don’t have anything eles to fill a house but right now we have each other. Thankfully our family and dogs are safe. God has us in his hands and i know everything happens for a reason. I know that reason is not always clear but i must trust that God will lead me to the right path. Please keep praying for us and if you have items to donate please give us a few days to get the funds for a storage unit.
