Help the Loomis Family - Ashton
Donation protected
Jen Loomis’ son, Ashton, was in a serious mountain biking accident on August 28, 2020. He attends school in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at Immanuel Lutheran High School.
Ashton and a few of his friends loaded up their bikes after school and headed to a favorite biking area. While riding, he flipped over his handlebars, landing on the left side of his face and shoulder.
He was initially unconscious and the boys called for an ambulance. After he was evaluated by the ER Trauma team it was determined that he had a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage. A follow up MRI was d and the Team found ‘Shearing’ in his brain. This won’t repair, so the brain has to reroute the information highway. The left side is affected but We have seen improvements each day. starting with his pinky finger moving, then the next one and the next. Now he is walking with a crutch and one therapist! Ashton will be in therapy for at least three more weeks. Jen is staying in Wisconsin to care for Ashton.
We are grateful to all of our family and friends for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers. And most cherished is the love and healing from our Lord, who is the Great Healer.
He is wanting to get out and get back to Immanuel. He misses his ILHS friends!!
