HELP THE LOVELY BARON FAMILY
Donation protected
This beautiful family's lives have been turned upside down in the past few months. Paul created a facebook post on 19th January telling everyone about his story with the hope to raise awareness of testicular cancer, he described himself as being very lucky, had his surgery over him, the prognosis was good and he possibly didnt need any further treatment. He fought hard to get back on his feet and physically fit so he could return to work as soon as possible. Paul was then told he may need a few weeks chemotherapy, this began to worry the family thinking of the financial impact with Paul being the bread winner of the house but they remained positive; Paul was hoping he'd be in treatment for max a month. A week ago Paul had he pre chemo assessment and blood results showed that his tumour markers were raised suggesting his cancer had spread and he was referred for an emergency CT scan. What initially appeared to be only a couple of months delay in returning to work as changed to indefinitely. Today he has had his scan and is anxiously awaiting the results, he has been told to prepare for at least 12 weeks chemotherapy but obviously this is depending on the the scan results. Paul is only 45 and has a young family of 4 children. He has always worked really hard to make sure his family needs were met and in recent years with all their savings managed to buy their dream home so his wife could pursue her dream of opening a cattery and animal sitting service. The family were reluctant to set up a go fund me but with persuasion from friends and not having an alternative they have decided to. The money raised would go to helping with heating, electricity and food costs; along with trying to keep their home. Please consider donating in any way at all, even a £1 is greatly appreciated. This family like others do not need the added stress of financial problems on top of everything else. Any donations left over after the family's needs are met, will be transferred to local cancer charities.
