It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Golden Beach Public Works employee Johnny Lucien's son – Kevin Lucien. Kevin tragically died in an auto accident on April 13, 2025. He was 25 years old.

Johnny Lucien has been an employee with the Public Works Department for over 18 years, dedicating countless hours to keeping the Town of Golden Beach's streets and facilities clean. We extend our deepest condolences to the Lucien Family for this devastating loss and offer our greatest sympathies.

In an effort to provide assistance to the family during this difficult time, the Town has created a GoFundMe account to aid with the monetary impacts of the tragedy. No amount is too small to help the family through this difficult and tragic situation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Lucien Family.
