Help Jamie Von S & the Lytton Rattler Firefighters
My nephew is Jamie von Sacken, a member of the Lytton Rattlers Initial Attack Team fire crew based out of Lytton, British Columbia. There is one 21 person unit crew and two, 3 person Initial Attack teams in Lytton. 27 members in total.
Several wild fires broke out over the last week and the town of Lytton has been evacuated. Mayor Jan Polderman made a statement that "The whole town is on fire".

According to Global News on July 1st, 2021 - 90% of the town has been burned to the ground. The damage has been devastating.
My nephew and his crew were working to fight the fires when they found out that the order to evacuate was given. They continued to work and unfortunately the wildfire spread into town. It has been very stressful for the crews as they tried to save the town, but many properties have been lost. The fire crews personal belongings have also been lost to the fire.
Communication has been spotty, due to poor reception but we heard back late last night that my nephew and his crew made it to safety, but everything they owned has been lost.
I am trying to help them raise some funds to replace their personal belongings, while they continue the fight to get the wildfires under control. I have asked if there are any supplies we can send to them, but they will also need some financial support to replace things that we can't give them.
With the help of my nephew, I will help distribute the funds raised to the members of the Lytton Rattlers crew.
Please consider supporting this fundraiser, so that the Lytton Rattlers can continue their work on the front lines during this dry and dangerous season.
Thank you!
