Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Our family is facing an unimaginable challenge, and we need your help.

On October 15th, Tuesday night, my sister Rachel Macala suffered a massive ruptured aneurysm. She is currently in critical but stable condition in the ICU in Sacramento. Rachel is not just the heart of our family—she is the cornerstone of the Macala household. She is the one who holds everything together for her husband Eugene and their three beautiful children, Janine, Kalea, and Michael. They also have four beloved cats that are part of the family Rachel so lovingly nurtures.

This tragedy has been sudden and devastating. As Rachel fights her way through recovery, Eugene and the kids have had to stop everything to be by her side. This means that for the foreseeable future, they have no income coming in while they focus on what matters most—Rachel’s health and recovery.

We are humbly asking for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, large or small, will go directly towards helping the Macala family cover everyday expenses, medical bills, and the costs of Rachel’s ongoing care. Your generosity will allow them to stay afloat while their world has been turned upside down.
