Help the Mathus Family

Hi, my name is Thais Távara and I am fundraising for my cousin, Patty, who unexpectedly lost her husband, Alex Mathus. Alex leaves behind his wife, Patty, and four beautiful kids. I thank you SO MUCH in advance for taking the time to help, every little bit helps. Below is a little bit of their story in my cousin's words:

 

My husband Alex Mathus was someone  who was full of life, love for others, and always had a heart to lend a helping hand. On October 3rd, me and my 4 children; Bianka (23), Isabella (17), Francesca (14) and Ezra (10), had to say goodbye to Alex. He suffered a severe ischemic stroke and was taken from us way too soon. For the total of his 46 years of life he was a provider, a hard worker and for our 18 years of marriage has always ensured that we had a roof over our head and food on the table. Alex also provided me with the blessing of being a stay at home mom for 23 years and I am trusting God in this process of seeing how life will look without my partner in life and the main provider of my family.

 

In this time of loss, it has been extremely hard for me to ask for help, this is something which is already hard for me to do under normal circumstances. So I thank you for even taking the time to read this and I ask that you keep my kids and I in your prayers. As we begin this new chapter in our lives, without Alex, every little bit helps and anything you contribute will go towards my kids and helping plan for their future. The future Alex would have wanted for them. It will help us get back on our feet and keep us afloat while I work on finding a job.
