Help the Matias Family in Their Time of Loss

Hello family and friends.

My father, David Matias Sr. suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Friday September 20. The cause for his sudden death is unknown at this time so we (my mother, siblings and myself), ask for privacy related to the cause as we are still in shock and have no answers for ourselves. As you could imagine, this is a very difficult time for us all and we are lost in confusion. What we do ask for at this time is lots and lots of prayer!

My father was a giver in life. He always wanted to make people smile, and he did just that with his unique and silly personality. He loved his family very much, especially all of his grandchildren. He absolutely avoided telling anyone “no” as best as he could within his capability. My siblings and I are so very blessed to have had him as a father just for us. The time we’ve been capable to spend with him on this earth was a privilege, but I know that our time here is temporary and we will all be called home one day.

This Gofundme is being set up by myself (David James), and I am asking for anyone capable and willing to donate any amount big or small. All donations collected will go towards covering any uncovered medical expenses for my father, ceremonial expenses and to help alleviate unpaid debt for my mother and father. It will also help with ongoing support for my mother Kathy, as she navigates moving forward without my dad.

Please do not feel obligated or guilty if you are incapable at this time. A lifting in prayer is contribution enough.
