Help the Matthews Family Honor Steve's Memory

My name is Linda Matthews and I am starting this on behalf of the Matthews family who just lost my brother-in-law Steven Matthews suddenly on Tuesday, November 5th. (This is after losing my father-in-law in April and 11 days later losing my daughter.) I have below the tribute written by my husband Tony, who was the 2nd oldest son in the family after Steven:

By now most of you have already heard that we lost one of the good guys. Steve Matthews was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work. He loved playing pool and was in several leagues throughout his life. He's won numerous championships and MVP awards, and more trophies than anyone can count. The pool community was as much a family to him as his family was, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

We are wanting to have a memorial service for him so that everyone who wants can come and say their goodbyes. Unfortunately, Steve didn't have any insurance to cover the cost of burial and services, so his family are putting together what they can to help with the expenses. We are also having a GoFundMe so his friends can help out if they can. We need all the help we can get after such a tragic year filled with so much loss in our tight knit family. All money raised will go towards his services and final arrangements. When we can, we will post where his memorial will be held at. We'd like to say thank you so very much to all the people who have reached out to us.
