Maui Disaster Relief

Dan & Martha Coronado are raising funds to help the Maui Community.

As you are all aware, on Tuesday, 8 August 2023 Maui was struck by several fires and it created such devastation. Currently it has taken the lives of at least 93 people, and the death toll could still climb even higher. So many people have been displaced, many have lost their loved ones, pets, homes and their businesses.

Through the years we have met so many kind and generous friends in Maui that have become part of our extended family. Recognizing the immediate need, we would like to assist in any way that we can. At this point we believe raising funds to help provide the immediate need for water, food, clothing and any day to day essentials is what we can do for now.

We are asking for your support via this GoFundMe site to support Lahaina, and other parts of Maui that have been affected by the fires. *100% (see below) of all proceeds will go to the Maui community. We will send the funds to one of our friends in Maui to make sure it will be used to help those that need it.

*I confirmed this morning that GoFundMe charges the following fees. I wanted to make sure you were aware if you choose to donate, a 2.9% fee for credit cards and an additional 30 cents per transaction, will be deducted from your donation. You also have a choice to "tip", you can choose zero or any amount; that amount will not be deducted from your donation.
