Help the Mays Family Escape Gaza's Hardships

Donation protected

I am Ray Niaja. I created this campaign to help my friend Mays' family get out to safety

• The story of everyone in the Mays family

• Mahmoud (24 years old) He was working for an education founder before the war, and because of the war, he lost his job.

• Ahmed (22 years old)

• He used to work as a tailor in a sewing factory, and because of the war, he lost his job. But he did not give up and opened a stall project to meet the family's needs.

• Ibrahim (20 years old)

• He was studying at the university, majoring in multimedia. Because of the war, he lost his university education. He was captured by the Zionist occupation and spent 27 days in prison, as if it were 27 years of severe torture and interrogation.

• Mays (15 years old)

Mais reached the tenth grade but was unable to complete her education because of the war. She now helps her mother with her daily work and loved drawing, which she lost because of the war.

  • This is the family story

They are unable to endure the harsh living conditions, facing starvation and suffering from pre-existing health conditions. Every day, the situation is getting worse. The cost of traveling to Egypt is currently $5,000 per person, an amount they cannot afford. The Mays family's suffering began when they were forced to flee to southern Gaza. They have been displaced six times during this war, each journey more terrifying than the last. During one escape attempt, a girl was sniped from the top floor of the UNRWA school. They walked in terrifying conditions, under the sounds of shelling and extreme danger. The suffering of Mays's family increased when their son Ibrahim was captured through a checkpoint and spent 25 days in prison. These days were the hardest for Ibrahim's family and were especially difficult for Ibrahim's mother, who fasted until Ibrahim was released from prison. When she heard Ibrahim's name, she would faint. They live in a very small tent and sleep on the floor for more than six months. Winter brings no relief, as rain floods their tent, leaving them drenched in water. And from insufficient food, which has led to weight loss, paleness, and exhaustion from daily hard work and exposure to the sun. The family has fallen ill one after another, with diseases including hepatitis, which has been particularly devastating due to the lack of medicine and healthy food. They cannot access proper health care and emergency services. They lack the basic necessities of life and are forced to dig deep holes to drain toilets and face enormous challenges in purchasing food and obtaining water. Even places where food is sold are targeted and dangerous. "We cannot bear the harsh living conditions and extreme hunger, coupled with poor health conditions. The situation is getting worse day by day. We have fallen ill one after another. There were many diseases, but the hardest was hepatitis, which lasted for a long time

and was difficult to treat due to the lack of

medicines and healthy food. We cannot seek proper health care and emergency services. Ibrahim used to work on a stall from morning to evening to help the family. Please help us. Even if the war ends today, there is no hope in sight for the people of Gaza to resume their normal lives soon. We would be grateful for any help we can get."
