Help the Micheros Rebuild After Fire Loss

Dear friends, family, and our greater community,

My name is Megan Koehler, and I’m writing this message on behalf of my family friends, Bob, Kim, and Darcy Michero. Last night, their beloved home in Hastings Ranch, Pasadena, was tragically consumed by the devastating Eaton Fire. In a matter of hours, they lost everything—clothes, personal belongings, family heirlooms, and, most painfully, the stability of the place they called home.

Thankfully, the Micheros and their dog, Pepper, are safe. They were able to evacuate in time, packing what they could, but everything else has been reduced to ashes. This unexpected tragedy has left them not only with the emotional and physical toll of the event but also with the overwhelming task of figuring out what's next. The fire has taken more than just their home; it has taken so many things that can't be replaced. I’m reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who might be able to help them in this difficult time.

The funds raised here will go directly toward the following:

Temporary housing while they navigate this process

Replacing basic necessities like clothes, toiletries, and essentials

The rebuilding of their life, from personal items to eventually finding a new place to call home

Any donation will help the Micheros take the next steps in rebuilding their life. If you are lucky enough to know Bob, Kim, and Darcy, you know that they are kind, hardworking, salt of the earth people. It’s hard to put into words how much they mean to me and to everyone in this community.
