Help the Miranda Family After Flood Loss
Donation protected
Dear community,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the plight of the Miranda family from Burns, Oregon, who have been severely affected by the recent flooding disaster in their community.
As you may be aware, Governor Tina Kotek declared a state of emergency on March 19, 2025, due to widespread flooding and landslides impacting several counties, including Harney County, where Burns is located.
The Miranda family, long-standing residents of Burns, have lost their home and possessions to the floodwaters. Currently displaced, they are in urgent need of assistance to rebuild their lives. Their immediate needs include temporary housing, clothing, food, and financial support to cover essential expenses during this challenging time.
The Oregon Department of Emergency Management has activated the State Emergency Coordination Center to Level 3 in response to the flooding. This activation allows for coordinated efforts to support local communities and individuals affected by the disaster.
I am reaching out to request any form of assistance you might be able to provide to the Miranda family. Whether through direct aid, connecting them with resources, or offering guidance on available support programs, any help would be deeply appreciated.
Please let me know if you require further information about the family’s situation or how you might assist. Your support can make a significant difference in helping them navigate this difficult period and begin the process of recovery.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
The Miranda Family
