Help Deema evacuate her family & finish medical school

I am reaching out to you with great urgency, writing from the midst of the massive ongoing war on Gaza, hopefully you can help me.

My name is Deema Muhaisen, I am 21 years old medical student in my fourth year, I am a part of a well respected, educated family, that consists of 8 members, my parents, me and my five younger siblings, ages from 5-19 years old.

Looking back through the past 6 months, we went through alot of unimaginable conditions, starting from fear and danger, that our lives were put on the line multiple times. Also, displacement, that my family is originally from Tal Alhawa neighbourhood in Gaza City, northern Gaza, but we were evacuated four times untill we reached Rafah, and we are currently staying at an UNRWA school with twenty other relatives in a classroom, going through very difficult conditions, with no access to proper food, water, shelter and medication.

We had a very beautiful life before October 7th, in our warm home back in Gaza, where each one of us had their own education, work and friends, but we have lost everything and now we have nothing to hold on to but our lives.

Despite all this loss and hardship, and rising from my duty to serve, I chose to volunteer in the emergency department, working over 45 hours a week, treating patients and making a real difference to my community.

With every passing day in this war, the danger increases and the future becomes more and more unknown. I am hoping to raise the fund to allow my family to leave the Gaza Strip so that my siblings can continue their lives and education peacefully.

Also, I hope to complete my education as a medical student, to become that good surgeon I always wanted to become, and help people in need and my own family.

I love Gaza, it is my homeland, so I am staying here as long as I can, serving my country but if I have to leave, certainly I am coming back to help rebuild it, to become as beautiful as it was.

This money will be spent on evacuating my family to safety in Egypt and allow them to start their lives all over again and continue their education.

Any extra money will be spent to help other relatives and for humanitarian work directed to people in need.
