Help the MukFest Pirates Get Their Boat Afloat!
Donation protected
The MukFest Pirates were formed in 2020 as a community outreach. 18 pirates from around the Mukilteo area came together to form their krewe. Their goal is to appear at community events and spread pirate cheer!
In 2020, the MukFest Pirates handed out candy at Mukilteo's Halloween Drive Thru event. The kids from the community loved seeing the pirates in their outlandish garb and hear their hearty "arrrrg"s! The Pirates took part in the 2021 Mukilteo Lighthouse Parade, handing out unique buttons and pennants created just for the event.
For the 2021 Lighthouse Festival, the Pirates secured a private ship and landed at Lighthouse Park and walked the plank to the delight of thousands of visitors. They also shot off a cannon to officially start the festival.
The MukFest Pirates are excited to continue attending community events - but need a boat of their own. They purchased a 1945 Amphibian/Road Duck which was retired from the military and then stretched and used by Ride the Duck in Seattle. In order to make their "ship" usable in parades and landings, the MukFest Pirates need your help! Repairs to the engine and a "facelift" are needed to transform their ship. Every dollar raised will be used to fund the much needed repairs
.
Thank you for your support! Together we can make the MukFest Pirates a fun, community group recognized around the Sound!
