Help the Musaka family say goodbye
Donation protected
MR. Niko Rukaza Safari Musaka was a father of 10 children.
He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He loved to travel and he loved to talk business. Niko, his wife and children with other family members left Africa and landed in Thailand as refugees. A couple years later Canada took them in as permanent residents.
In the short time that I got to know Niko, You can see the love in his eyes for his family. Niko was a kind man with a heart of gold. He helped others when in need of help, sometimes even sacrificing his own needs in order to do so.
The funds we hope to raise for the family will be for travelling expenses for the 10 children of Niko. The family already have raised an estimated $9,000, to send their older brother/Son to lay Niko to rest in Congo, most of the expense was used for travelling and medical bills in Congo and the required Government hotel isolation for Canada.
The family is planning to fly to DRC Congo end of August early September 2021. This is so the children Can pay their final respect to their father. Due to covid it has made everything a more complicated expensive process.
The funds are to be collected by myself and My Fiance daughter of Niko Musaka. Our goal is set to $10,000 we know it will not cover all the cost for everyone to go and return to Canada. But it will be a big help to the family in this time of mourning.
I do want to say thank you for taking the time to read this and opening your hearts to the family. If you're not able to make a donation please pass it along to friends and family and your community if possible to help spread the word.
