Help The Needy 2023 Mission - Azad Kashmir

Salaam and Hello,

 

I hope you are all well.

 

The last 2 years I have been flying out to Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, to distribute much needed Food Parcels that helped many families get through Ramadan. Thanks to everyones generosity, last year we managed to distribute 266 Food Parcels across many different villages! Alhamdulillah! We also gave cash donations totalling 51,000 PKR. These figures have increased year by year. We always aim to provide assistance to families who have low to zero income, and to widows, orphans and the disabled.

 

We are planning our 2023 Mission and request your assistance again. We will distribute food parcels and give cash donations to the most in need. As you may be aware, the cost of everything has risen in Pakistan and our efforts make a huge difference to the less fortunate. 

 

I will be flying out at the end of February to start the distribution, and as per last year we need to order goods in advance to get the best rate and as always I pay for me own tickets and expenses so it is a 100% donation policy ensuring all the money gets to the correct destination.

 

I am confident that we can beat last year's target and reach out to even more families InshaAllah.

 

Our initial target is £10,000 but we really hope this will be smashed. Literally, every penny helps. 

Each parcel contains the following and costs approx £30/40. We may make some small changes to the parcel depending on people's personal preference.

Soap 4 bars

Cooking oil- 5 ltr

Salt - 1 kg

Rice - 5kg

Red beans Lentils - 2kg

Chana lentils - 1 kg

Daal Marsh- 1kg

Sugar - 5kg

Tea - 1 box

Spices - Turemic and chilli powder 

Gram flour - 2kg

Potatoes - 10kg

Ruh hafza - 1 bottle 

Washing detergent soap
