Help the Nguezemi Family
Tax deductible
On Sunday, October 4, two year old Ezechiel Nguemezi fell from his apartment window and was killed. His single mother and family are in deep mourning and need the help of our community.
Ms. Nguemezi, a food deliver driver, suffering from immeasurable grief, has been unable to work. She, and her elderly mother who lives with her were facing eviction and have now tragically lost her only little boy. Fortunately, thank to the efforts of the Renters Alliance and the Takoma Park Housing and Community Affairs office, the landlord has agreed to withdraw the eviction threat. But the tears and funeral expenses remain.
Sometimes life becomes too much for anyone to bear. We must help. The Renters Alliance asks everyone in our community to donate whatever you can to relieve some of this family's suffering and grief.
All funds donated will go through the Renters Alliance, a 501-c-3 nonprofit, and provide the Nguemezi family with rent, food, and funeral expenses.
