Help The Nolan's Navigate Life After Losing Their Dad
Donation protected
My name is Lexy, and I’m creating this fundraiser to support the Nolan family after the sudden loss of their father, Melvin Stuart Nolan. My 15-year-old daughter, MJ, has called Mel’s twin daughters, Scarlet and Cynthia, her best friends since the second grade when we moved to Stouffville. Even after we moved away 2.5 years ago, Mel made sure the girls stayed connected—he would drive three hours so they could spend time together. Not many parents would go to those lengths, especially with limited resources, but that was the kind of dedicated father Mel was.
On November 11, Mel tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident just minutes from home in Stouffville, Ontario, only weeks before his 52nd birthday. Mel, born in 1972, was a single dad and a talented automotive painter who, despite financial challenges, put his children’s needs above all else. He leaves behind six children: Brittany, Melvin, Christina, Raistlin, and his 15-year-old twins, Scarlet and Cynthia, who now face a future without their loving father.
This fundraiser aims to help cover the cost of Mel’s funeral, provide for immediate and day-to-day needs, and ensure that his younger children, especially Scarlet and Cynthia, have support as they move forward. Every contribution will go toward funeral expenses, living arrangements, future schooling, and the essentials needed to help them through this difficult transition.
Thank you for helping honour Mel’s legacy by supporting his children as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
