Help the Norman family after devastating fires.

Nicholas and Timithie Norman, are both Catholic school teachers who believe deeply in the power of community to raise happy, responsible children. However, the recent fires have left us without a stable home, and it’s heartbreaking not to provide a sense of security for our daughters, Eva and Eleanor.
When we evacuated, one of our daughters asked, “Mom, is our house going to burn down?” I reassured her, saying, “A lot of bad things have to happen before that.” Unfortunately, those bad things did happen.
Through determination and faith, my husband and I saved most of our home with buckets, shovels, and a lot of courage. We even helped protect some neighbors’ properties. However, we can’t return home for the foreseeable future, and the road ahead is uncertain.
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love from our church St. Bede the Venerable Church, family, friends, and school communities. Your support will help us provide some normalcy for our girls during this challenging time.
From Eleanor:
“I’m in 6th grade, and the hardest part has been seeing the destruction and knowing life won’t be the same for a long time. I miss our house and wish everything could go back to normal.”
From Eva:
“I’m in 7th grade, and I love to swim and read. The hardest part was seeing our neighbors’ homes burn. I hope to keep swimming and help our neighbors as we rebuild together. Thank you so much for thinking of us!”
Thank you for your generosity and prayers as we navigate this journey to recover our home and our lives.
