Help the Opalinski Family battle ALS and Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart during what is an unimaginably difficult time for the Opalinski family. Many of you have asked, "How can I help?" - and the truth is, any help, whether financial or otherwise, will make a tremendous difference for my aunt, my mom's sister, Zyta, and her husband, my uncle, Edward Opalinski, who are both facing devastating health battles.
Zyta and Edward have always been the kind of people who show up for others with love, kindness, and support. Now, life has taken a heartbreaking turn, and they need us more than ever.
Edward has been diagnosed with cancer, and his condition has worsened due to complications, including sepsis. He is currently in the hospital. At the same time, Zyta is battling ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), which has left her unable to move or speak. She is home on oxygen, relies on a feeding tube for nourishment, and requires constant care and attention.
This unimaginable situation has turned their lives, and the lives of their children upside down. As a couple, Edward and Zyta can't even be there for each other in their time of need. Instead, their children - Annette, a dedicated nurse, along with Diane and Daniel - have taken on the enormous responsibility of caring for both parents simultaneously. They are doing everything possible to provide the love and care their parents deserve, but the physical, emotional, and financial toll is overwhelming.
That's why I've created this GoFundMe account - to give all of us who love them the opportunity to help. Every donation will go directly to them toward medical expenses, caregiving support, and unforeseen costs that arise. Even if you are unable to give financially, sharing this message, offering emotional support, or keeping then in your thoughts and payers means so much.
Zyta and Edward have spent their lives helping others. Now it's our turn to give back and show them they are not alone. Let's help ease the burden for the family as they navigate this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, kindness, and support. Your generosity, in any form, means more than words can express.
With love and gratitude,
Izabella
