Help the Pakradouni Family Overcome Hardships

I'm raising money for my mom and dad, affectionately known by many as Mama Pak and Master Sev. For those of you who haven’t been following the Pakradouni Family saga these last few years, my family has suffered a lot of financial, medical, familial, and professional blows including but not limited to:

My dad’s loss of income from 2020-2022 because of COVID shutting down all the sales opportunities for the family business, Sev’s Wood Crafts.

The death of my 40-year-old sister Jennifer from cancer in March 2022.

My mom undergoing her own cancer treatment: cancer surgery (April 2022), chemotherapy (May-August 2022), and radiation therapy (September 2022) following soon after Jennifer’s passing.

My mom developing sprue-like enteropathy and dealing with its effects from 12/6/23 to 8/31/24, and now the resulting hernias, gastritis, and esophygitis, which have rendered her unable to work again. She is a school teacher at Toll Middle School in Glendale and has been sick at home since August 23, 2024.

Mrs. Pak as she is known to her students is now on disability for the second time in two years. All these hardships since 2020 have put a cumulative strain on the family’s finances to the point that despite taking out loans, cutting expenses, hosting garage sales, and selling belongings on eBay and Craigslist, the family is still struggling financially.

My mom is getting a surgery this fall that will hopefully put her in a good enough condition to work again at full pay sometime next year, but in the meantime, the family is in need of any support they can get.

Getting more loans is not a solution for them, so I'm hoping that all the people they have both helped and supported over the years can give them the financial boost they will need to get over this hump. My parents have always found it easier to help and support others, but have a hard time asking for help, so I am doing it for them.
