Help the Palmisano Family!

Hi, my name is Teh Henning and I am raising money for dear friends, the Palmisano family. David and Heather Palmisano of Keokuk, Iowa experienced a tragedy yesterday and they need your help!!! David Jr. (age 40) and David III (age 9) were driving to a campsite when they were critically injured in a terrible accident. A jeep smashed into the driver’s side of their truck, nearly obliterating it, and requiring the occupants to be extracted with the jaws of life. Both Davids were life flighted to the University of Iowa medical center in separate helicopters and placed into the ICU. David Jr. received the worst of the injuries: left leg broken in four places (currently in traction and requiring pending surgeries), left scapula broken, left rib fractures, left ulnar fracture, bruised lungs, and a deep laceration to his right arm (that was cleaned out and sutured). David III has a severely bruised, swollen face, and received sutures for multiple lacerations to his lower lip. Eyewitness accounts of the accident are chilling, and while the pictures below provide some context, they do not capture the severity of the situation. David Jr. remains sedated and on a ventilator in the ICU awaiting the trauma team’s decision on the timing of the numerous, necessary surgeries ahead of him. He will be out of work indefinitely, leaving the family in dire straits. David III also remains in the hospital healing from the injuries to his face. David and Heather are the parents of six amazing kids, with baby #7 on the way. They need your help to make it through the difficult, uphill battle ahead. The Palmisanos are the most Christ-like people I know — they go out of their way to help everyone they meet regardless of the personal sacrifice required. They are a family of modest means but enormous and generous hearts. This accident not only put the family’s primary breadwinner out of work indefinitely, but also destroyed David Jr.’s work truck. The University of Iowa is more than 90 miles from their Keokuk home, requiring Heather to spend an enormous amount of money on gas for the foreseeable future to commute back and forth, potentially missing work as an LPN, and rendering childcare very difficult. No one is more deserving of your help than this family. Please give to and pray for these wonderful people. Any amount helps. Thank you in advance with love and God bless!
