Help the Panthers Prowl to London

We are Newsome Panthers Open Age Rugby League team. Over the past 3 years this local community club has won the hearts of many in Huddersfield. Not only by having success on the field (winning the Yorkshire Men's League Premier Division Grand Final in 2023, their 3rd Grand Final win in as many seasons), the club are a firm identity in the local community, having raised thousands of pounds for charities over the years. Not only this, the team donates selection boxes to hospitals at Christmas time, and Easter Eggs to those in need at Easter.

Now, following unprecedented achievements on the field (winning 94% of games in 3 years) , the team has been entered into the most prestigious Rugby League competition in the world, The Challenge Cup. The first round sees the Panthers take on Wests Warriors, a London-based Rugby League team who themselves have enjoyed successes on the pitch over the years. This is a momentous occasion not just for the team and community, but the whole of Huddersfield Rugby League and the team now needs help to fund the hotel for the players for the night and coach travel.

We need to raise c.£1,500 to make this historic trip to the capital and the club would greatly appreciate any donation; a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of the lads to make a name for themselves on the big stage.
