Help the Peltzer Family Recover After LA Wildfire

I’m Kristin Schwab, and these dear people are the Peltzer Family- my brother Eric & his wife Miya, along with their children Isaac (16) & Elsa (14). Their Altadena, California family home of 20+ years was burned to the ground in the devastating Los Angeles/Eaton Wildfire this past Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

This fund has been started to help them rebuild their lives in the community that they love. All in our extended family have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of concern & requests for ways to help them out in their time of great need.

A little bit about them: Eric is a metal sculptor & musician, Miya is a textiles designer & pianist, Isaac is an amazing gundam builder & cellist, Elsa is an awesome dancer & violinist. Their home was a wonderful hive of creativity & love, in a diverse, middle-class neighborhood.

At this point they are in the process of finding a rental unit to live in while they pursue the longer term goal of rebuilding or finding another home in the area. They lost nearly every possession in this fire… this fund can not only give them a jump on rebuilding their basic needs but maybe also a guitar or piano to keep their spirits strong.
