Help the Penner Family Cope with Danny's Sudden Passing

It is with great sadness that we are preparing this go-fund-me page to ask for support for the Penner family as they grapple with the grief of losing Daniel (Danny) Penner. He is gone way too soon at the young age of almost 21 years old.

Danny passed away on Thursday, August 29, at 4:38 am. He woke up on Wednesday morning with abdominal pain and feeling too weak to walk. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance and admitted immediately. Tests revealed that he had Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and had developed a severe infection, that because of how AML had affected his body he was not able to fight. The infection was attacking his intestines and other organs. He was put into an induced coma, given very strong antibiotics, they performed surgery to try and remove infected tissue, but in spite of the doctor’s best efforts, he succumbed to his illness less than 24 hours after being admitted to the hospital.

His family is in total shock, it is such an unexpected death. They are left struggling with making the necessary arrangements all the while trying to come to terms with their grief. For those of us who have gone thru loss, we know how incredibly difficult it an be to function on a day to day basis, and the debilitating pain of grieving.

He will be tremendously missed by his father Peter, mom Angela, and sister Amy. It is unfathomable that they are faced with continuing their life journey without dear Danny by their side.
