ViCTiMS OF FIRE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Hey my name is Matt Smith and on Friday Feb 7, 2025 @ 11: 30 am . We were alerted to the alarm of the building 753 Dundas St London Ontario Canada. It was black the smoke billoughing out the top floor . OMG ...I ran up and saw Melissa a tenant @306 she had an extinguisher but couldn't remove the tag to use it I tore it off and attempted to go in but instantly could not breathe she tried and came back out my superintendent tried same thing ....We knew we had to go down but Billy in 307 we believed to be in his apt

By now fire dept was on site so I alerted them that Billy was in his unit as far as we knew. By now its getting real bad at the time we didn't know there was lithium batteries in the unit and then it was to late they must of exploded because it was uncontrollable. These men in our fire and rescue deserve tremendous attention and respect for what they do without hesitation. Finally we found Billy but his 2 cats had now perished. So in all there are 20 units in our building and 5 that I know as of today are gone completely the others I will know as they update us . But I am told I should start this page , something I have never needed a reason . So as it stands we dont know all in what we will need I've spoke to a few people and right now we think donations of money will suit us best . RED CROSS put us in motel four days then 2 more today and we are unsure where the next help will come from at this time . If people would like to make donations of bedding to hygiene products whatever you can think of we will need once we know when the few can go home we will need anything fabric related as the smell of smoke will never go away

. But all cash donations will be used

For Housing ..I know our neighborhood OEV OLD EAST VILLAGE is coming out strong with offerings of help

.so let's make this the one thing you do and help these long time residents of London Ontario Canada...bless you all ..

All monies will go to trust of 2 people to be sure this is done right by us all ...I will update the exact number of people and pets affected from this fire..
