Help the people of Kibbutz Kfar Aza

Hello,

On October 7th, 2023, Elias, a man I once called brother, fell to the violence of Hamas. Kfar Aza, his home and the heart of many, lies now in ashes.

Our paths crossed in March of 2022, at a juncture when my mental health was at its lowest. He reached out, pulling me from the dark void, teaching me the patience of beekeeping, and introducing me to the mesmerizing trails of Israel. He was the reason I found my strength and now stand as a lawyer in Toronto.

In memory of Elias and the souls of Kfar Aza, I've chosen to attempt the challenge of EVERESTING. On October 15th, I will up and down the Doris McCarthy Trail in Scarborough, Toronto(Strava Segment) until I've conquered the equivalent height of Mt. Everest, 8,848m.

This endeavour is more than just a race; it is a testament to endurance, hope, and the indomitable human spirit. I implore you to stand with me, not for me but for Elias, for Kfar Aza, for all who've lost.

Your generosity will see to it that the foundations of the kibbutzim community rise from the ashes, stronger and more resilient than before.

Supporting initiatives like rebuilding the children's playgrounds, community garden, and public spaces.
