Dana Sage Rose Perrine Memoriam

Donation protected
As some of you reading may know, tragedy has struck our family in one of the worst ways humanly possible.
This afternoon, I found out I had lost my youngest sister.

Dana (Sage) Rose Perrine, 21, went to bed in the evening of Friday, January 24th, soon after finishing her dinner, just as any other one of us. Overnight, she tragically suffered a brain aneurysm in her sleep, granting her peace, but she was pronounced unresponsive early this afternoon after Hawthorne, NJ paramedics gave her the best and highest degree of medical treatment they could.

If you’ve sadly never had an opportunity to properly meet Dana Rose, she was so incredibly one of a kind. She became one of the most humorous, intuitive, creative, and artistic individuals I’ve ever had the blessing to know and grow with. She cast a warm light and whimsy to any room she stepped in and was in the process of becoming a full-time Day-Care assistant for infants at the Boys and Girls Club of America. Her upbringing was far from conventional, but that adversity never stopped her from growing into a hardworking adult who was unapologetically herself and shouted for what she believed in. Dana’s impact on her community of loved ones, friends, and our household will always be heartfelt and deep. I’m so thankful I was able to tell her I love her as our final conversation.

In the last 2 years overall, my family has suffered through my father becoming permanently handicapped due to a car accident, the loss of my mother Dawn Perrine at the age of 51, and now the loss of my youngest sister, and there is still an immense amount of grief and ever-growing problems financially that stem from all of this tragedy. No donations are required; however, any small amount will go a long way to help the entire Perrine/Scanlan families recover during these depressing times. I appreciate any and all of the support. Wishing good health to all of you and reminding you to tell your close ones that you love them.
