We are done. Jake is gone

I’m starting a fundraiser for the emergency surgery, ultrasound, vet fees and potential major studies for our silver lab Jake.

Jake is a much loved, funny dog who was full of life until the other day.

He started filling up with liquid in his belly~ gaining 9 pounds in a few days!

We took him to 3 vet appointments and sadly he was misdiagnosed as having a prostate infection!

These 3 visits, rays and blood tests exhausted our funds totally.

My husband has been out of work due to a work injury /surgery for 6 months now, so our funds are nonexistent.

Today, we brought Jake to a third vet and he ended up having an urgent surgery.

At first, the vet thought it was cancer, but now he’s thinking maybe the heart.

We need to bring him to a specialist and this will be expensive as well.

Just in 2 weeks, including today we have racked up over $2,000 in bills.

There will be more studies, tests and visits down at the University of Minnesota.

We have no idea how much this will cost in the end but any financial help will be appreciated.

I have never done a fundraiser for my pets and never thought I would, but Jake deserves this help and we will move mountains for him!
