Help the Philippines - Devastating Typhoon

This is a fundraising campaign organised by Molchanovs Freediving.

On Thursday, 16 December, Super Typhoon Rai hit the Philippines. Sadly, at least 208 people are known to have died with rescue efforts continuing in the country.

We are heartbroken to hear of the devastating impact of Rai with homes and communities destroyed. Molchanovs Freediving was also contacted and told that some freediving schools have been wiped off the map and we are waiting to hear back from members of the freediving community to ensure their safety. We were asked to initiate crowdfunding to help assist the community in its recovery.

Molchanovs Freediving is running this campaign where all proceeds (minus any fees) will go to the Philippines in the following way:

The funds raised will go to urgently needed things such as water, gas, temporary housing and more - we are just hoping that every little bit counts towards helping in any way.

Please consider contributing, big or small, to help this wonderful country in its recovery and to assist our beloved freediving community in the Philippines. During this season of the year, we have an opportunity to open our hearts and give a gift with purpose to help those in need.

In a few days, we will also be organising an auction to further raise funds for the Philippines. The auction will be online and will consist of gear, courses, coaching sessions and more generously donated by Molchanovs Ambassadors. We will post more about that here once that is launched.
