Help the Phillips Family in their Fight Against Cancer

On October 19th Cody had a seizure at the gym which resulted in a trip to the ER and subsequent imaging that showed a golf ball size tumor on his brain, pressing on the area that controls his speech.

He had surgery January 13th at Kaiser and the neurosurgery team was able to remove 90% of the tumor but had to leave a small part behind due to the risk of permanently affecting his speech. Recent test results have shown that the inoperable piece of the tumor is malignant and “category 3”, which means he will need immediate chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Cody and his wife Kristin have a 1 year old little boy, Jace. They’re both currently out of work due to Cody’s circumstances, juggling Cody’s appointments, his aftercare, paying medical bills, taking care of Jace and planning for his chemo and radiation treatments.

Cody and Kristin are supported by friends and family but are facing a lot of financial struggles and would be grateful for any support that this amazing community can provide. Prayers for the Phillips family!
