Help the Pinner Family with Medical Expenses

Please help us raise money for Rob’s hospital expenses.

Wednesday, March 13, Rob was taken to the hospital with chest pain and was diagnosed with flu and has pneumonia in almost all of his lung fields. Over the last 5 days, no corners have been turned and there are little to no improvements. It has been confirmed the pneumonia is a MRSA pneumonia that has been tricky to manage with antibiotics. He is requiring oxygen that has steadily been increased in the last two days to maintain his oxygen saturations and work of breathing. Additionally, new bilateral pleural effusions and worsening labs were found today. All of this is indicating further treatment, interventions, medications, and hospital stay for the foreseeable future.

Rob has this list of medical needs while his wife, Tracy, is trying to balance advocating and caring for him and also taking care of their two kids, Liam and Brynlee. Rob is the primary provider for the house and unable to work or see his children while in the hospital. Tracy works hard for the kids ensuring the school, medical appointments, therapies, and countless other things are done. The kids, Tracy, and Rob have all been taking turns with sickness since January- from the flu, stomach bugs, other respiratory viruses, and strep. They all just need a break from sickness cycling through. Even though Tracy is still trying to recover from the flu herself, she’s continuing to be the Super Mom she is being there for Robbie and the kids. They have all been through enough medically and emotionally- I hope raising money for medical bills can relieve the impending stress that comes with any longer hospital stay.

Rob has a long journey ahead, especially not being out of his acute stage of illness yet. As many know, medical expenses add up very quickly!
