Help the Porter family recover after a devastating fire.

George and Lora Porter lost everything in a house fire. They had no insurance coverage! They lost clothes, furniture, pictures, her prescription glasses, her work clothes, and a beloved doggie named Lilly and 1 cat named Chloe. They were like children to them. A few of their animals survived. The animals are in need as well.

Lora has been an employee at Village Grill in Lexington, NC for over 12 years where she still works today. She's a familiar face to all of us. She works as a server to provide for her family and to help her children and grandchildren when she can afford to.

Her husband George is on oxygen and in declining health and is unable to work. She is the only financial provider as well as assists with his medical needs.

Lora is a grandmother to 10 amazing grandchildren. She is always the first to help others and at this point she needs our help.

Her communities help.

Her daughter also lived with her who also lost everything. It is a complete loss for everyone. They must start over with nothing.

I am asking for donations to help ease their burden. No one can possibly imagine what they are going through unless you have been through it yourself. It's hard to imagine.

My goal is to help raise money for Lora and her family.
