LGBTQIA Support System ‘24

Gracious Salutations to Our Esteemed Donors,
The Queer Family extends heartfelt gratitude to you for your unwavering support.
We trust this correspondence finds you in excellent spirits.
Today, we humbly reach out to seek your esteemed support and generous contributions to aid the LGBTQI refugees residing in Kenya.
As previously communicated, the LGBTQI refugees successfully fled the confines of the Kakuma Refugee Camp. Some sought refuge in Nairobi, while others ventured to the UNHCR in a near by country, where they were graciously received and officially registered by UN officials. Presently, they are undergoing thorough interviews as part of the resettlement process.
While some received donations to facilitate their relocation from Kenya to this nearby country, others remain stranded in Nairobi, diligently exploring alternative avenues for assistance. We are currently in active communication with LGBTQI group in Kenya .
Regrettably, the current circumstances are dire. Both LGBTQI refugee groups in Kenya are facing critical shortages of basic necessities, including food, essential for their survival. Our fundraising endeavors have faced challenges over the past 30 days, resulting in insufficient funds to support these vulnerable communities.
Regarding the LGBTQI refugees in the near by country, our aim is to collaborate closely with them to orchestrate a modest meal in honor of Pride Month. Just as we cherish the freedom to embrace our true identities, they too yearn for an opportunity to celebrate amidst the constraints of their current circumstances. Despite the need to maintain a discreet profile, we remain steadfast in our hope that they will find sanctuary in first-world nations that embrace LGBTQI refugees.
The Pride Month festivities are slated for June 28th, 2024, contingent upon reaching our financial target of €2000 EUROS. The allocated budget encompasses essential items, including livestock, sustenance, cooking utilities, decorative elements, and transportation, all indispensable for a joyous celebration.
We aspire to capture the essence of this momentous occasion through visual documentation, which will be shared as an update on our fundraising platform.
In conclusion, we earnestly appeal for your benevolent contributions and steadfast support once more. The Pride Month Meal initiative requires €2000 EUROS to ensure that we may revel in the joy of companionship and solidarity with LGBTQI refugees in Kenya.
Furthermore, we implore emergency donations to address urgent needs, including sanitary provisions and the construction of a dedicated restroom facility, essential for preserving the health and dignity of our LGBTQI family members.
We extend our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering compassion and solidarity.
