Help the Ragers Rebuild After Fire

When the Eaton fire broke out on January 7, Adam and Sarah Rager had to quickly evacuate their Altadena home. They fled with their two young children, their cat and two dogs, and just two bags of essentials.

The fire hit their neighborhood hard, destroying all of the houses on their street. Their house and everything in it, along with their second car, are gone. Adam and Sarah and their children and pets are safe and sheltered but have lost almost everything they own.

Adam and Sarah Rager are dedicated and beloved elementary educators in our community. Adam, known to his students as Mr. Rager, teaches 4th grade at Elysian Heights Arts Magnet in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Sarah, known to her school as Ms. Rager, teaches at Altadena Arts Magnet in Pasadena Unified. They have given so much to our community, enriching the lives of hundreds of children, and now they need our help.
