Help The Recovery Ranch do what they do best
Help the Recovery Ranch do what they do
best, which is to help addicts struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.
A group of us have connected with the ranch
and have been ministering there on a weekly
basis. We have seen first hand the love and
compassion the owners, Christa and Rich have with all the residents but we have also seen
the financial struggle they encounter on a
daily basis. They struggle daily to ensure they have enough space/supplies to keep up with
so many addicts wanting to be free from their addiction. Therefore we decided to create this page to enable those that want to come
together with us and change the lives of many around us suffering from their addictions.
Galatians 6:2
Who they are:
The Recovery Ranch was founded by Christa Reyonolds with the support of her husband
and 4 children. (Plus their bonus child )
The ranch is held together by the hard work,
put in by Christa and her husband Rich. They
presently have about 60 residents at the
ranch.
What the Recovery Ranch does:
Clients live on the property in transitional
housing while attending meetings, getting
basic medical care, group counseling,
educational classes, weekly church services,
work training, and volunteering in the
community with the purpose of giving them
the tools they need to become contributing
members of society.
How can you help:
Contributions: any amount would be a
blessing. If you live locally (near Loris, SC) and you have a skill or trade and can donate your
time, that would be of great help. Also
garbage bags (they go through about 25 bags a day), bedding, gas gift cards, printer paper,
towels , paper products, tools, hygiene
essentials, Men’s and woman’s clothing,
shoes and building supplies.
Where your donations will go to:
* Funds needed for Transportation, repair and setup of donated “home”. (Electric, septic ,
foundation, landscaping etc...approx. $25,000)
* Repairs to current “homes” on the ranch.
* Upgrades needed to be done, to be up to par, to guidelines made by the state.
* Daily Essentials for Recovery residents, such as towels, bedding, and hygiene.
* Help with bills: Christa and Rich allow many of the residents to stay at the ranch free of
charge because they can not afford to pay
“rent”, therefore there are times the bills are
left for them to pay out of pocket.
