Hello everyone,
My name is Kallie, the mom of Crazy Rector kids. As some people know we have three boys and one girl.
Our little girls name is Nevaeh Ruth Jean Rector. She is quiet special actually. She is a very strong, beautiful little girl with an amazing heart that she wears on her sleeve. She absolutely loves everyone who crosses her path. She loves to make new friends and doesn't care who you are, where you come from, or what your past says about you. She sees the good in everyone.
She also has a unique superpower only very few have. She has a disability known as Tri-somey 21 or also known as down syndrome. She also due to her disablity has Congenital Heart Defects, that now labels her with congential heart failure. How scary is that to hear your 6 year old daughter, your only daughter has Congenital Heart Failure? As her Mom, I knew she was going to have medical issues, but I didnt expect the seriousousness from what is happening now. Im terrified I'm not going to lie. Im scared out of my witts end. But I use that fear as fuel to make sure my girl survives this and whatever else comes her way. She is a fighter and so strong. She is my Hero.
She was recently scheduled for November 8th 2023, for her Second Major Open Heart Surgery. It has been postponed until December 18, 2023 @ 7:30 am at Phoenix Childrens Hospital. They will be replacing her main vavle that connects her heart to her lungs. As of right now, when she inhales, she is inhaling a bacteria, when she exhales she is exhaling blood directly into her lungs. This for us, as her parents is terrifying.
Due to her having the surgery Myself her Mom, her Dad and her Grandma will be taking time off of work to care for her post-operation and in her recovery stage.
We are asking for support from our community and for help with Christmas Expanses. This holiday season is going to be hard for us. I will be taking off of work for almost a full month. December 16th 2023 - January 11th 2024. This is going to make it very hard for us with myself not working. So We are asking for the communities help with electric cost, since electric is a daily struggle for us, groceries, gas to get back and forth from the hospital, and appointments after surgery. We are also seeking help for rent if possible. We are parents who rely of on our weekly paychecks.
We know we may be asking for alot, but this little girl is worth it. She is the glue to our family. She is the happiness that keeps all of us adults hearts beating daily. She is everything I could have ever hoped for in a daughter and so much more. I as a mother dont know what I would do with out her, if she didnt have this surgery.
Please help me make this journey easy for our family in our tough time of need.
Thank you so much
