On Monday, November 28th, Michael Reed's life was forever changed. Michael has a wife, Constance, two daughters, Chloe and Lily, and a son, Nicholas. As most of you have heard, there were devestating fires that ran through Gatlinburg and surrounding counties. On this evening, due to the high winds and storms, they lost power and were unaware of how close the fires were to their location. Michael and his son, made an attempt to check with the community center to see if an evacuation plan was in place. In his efforts to find out how dire their situation was, he became stuck in evacuation traffic and was unable to turn around. His wife called to inform him that a raging fire was across the street. The last conversation he and his wife had, were of panic, fear and separation. Their home is a total loss, along with all the memories they've shared in that home. Search efforts continue, in hopes to bring this family back together again. His wife and daughter's whereabouts are currently unknown. We are still hopeful . We are trying to raise money for this family to help with the loss of their home and everything they had. Michael and Nicholas left with the clothes on their back! Funds will go to re-establish a home for their family and God forbid the worst outcome.....money will be needed for those needs also.
Please help this family with anything you can give. No amount is too small. We mostly request your prayers. Thank you all so much!
This account is managed by Mike's father, Grant Reed and stepmother Coral Reed of Dayton OH. All funds will be transferred into an account directly to Mike Reed.
