UPDATED - It was with a heavy heart, that we announced the passing of our beloved Susan Reno. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

During this incredibly difficult time, Dr. Reno is facing not only the emotional pain of losing his soulmate but also significant financial burdens. The medical expenses from Susan’s illness have placed a heavy strain on their finances. Additionally, Dr. Reno’s business has been affected, as he has had to take considerable time away to care for Susan and now to grieve.

We have updated this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial stress from medical bills and to support Dr. Reno in getting his business back to thriving. Your contribution will go a long way in helping him manage these immediate expenses and ensure his business can continue during this challenging period.

Story

As many of you know, Susan Reno, a beloved member of our MAC family, and the dear wife and practice partner of MAC leader Dr. Don Reno, was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer in early November. Susan’s heartening fight against cancer has been truly amazing and has inspired all of us to support her in this fight. She has also hung in and supported Dr. Don as he works daily to continue to treat patients in the successful practice they built together, and in all their work with the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan, and MichiCare. Susan has remained positive and strong throughout this extremely challenging ordeal and is a true inspiration to all of us!

The last months have been full of love and prayers, many trips to providers, several rounds of chemotherapy treatments, healing, and setting goals for the future.

We would love to help Susan reach some of her goals and assure that she and Don reach these goals together. One of Susan’s wishes is a week of sand and sun on the beaches of Florida (doctors’ permission to travel is hopefully coming soon). With funds stretched due to the many treatments over the past months, we are fundraising to help Dr. Don and Susan enjoy reaching their goals together as a family.
